The front zipper is full length and covered by a hook \u0026amp; loop flap\/baffle to make it completely windproof.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe hood is large with an internal loop and wire frame so you can shape the hood to not interfere in windy conditions. There are draw cords at the neck to close the hood, internally at the waist and the base to ensure you can adjust for maximum comfort and protection from the elements. The fabric is very tightly woven polycotton with a water repellent treatment, which of course will wear out with time.
